        "content": "<p>To commemorate Independence Month, the South Sulawesi Youth\nAssociation (HPSS), together with the Indonesian Association of\nAnaesthesia Nurses (HIPANI) DKI Jakarta, Thalassemia Movement, and Cipto\nMangunkusumo Hospital (RSCM), held a humanitarian action in Rawa Bunga\nUrban Village, Jatinegara, East Jakarta, on Sunday (23\/8\/2026). The\nevent, titled \u201cJejak Langkah Kemanusiaan: Dari Hati Pemuda untuk Denyut\nNadi Negeri\u201d (Footsteps of Humanity: From the Hearts of Youth for the\nPulse of the Nation), featured a blood donation drive and Basic Life\nSupport (BHD) education for local residents. Representing the Chairman\nof HPSS, Luqmanul Hakim said the event was intended to nurture social\nsolidarity within urban communities while helping to meet the blood\nneeds of patients, particularly thalassemia survivors. \u201cThis activity is\na manifestation of HPSS\u2019s commitment to continuously move and make an\nimpact. We interpret the spirit of independence within the framework of\nmutual cooperation to help others,\u201d said Luqmanul in Jakarta on Sunday\n(23\/8\/2026). In addition to blood donation, local residents received BHD\ntraining. HIPANI DKI Jakarta Chairman and Committee Chairman Rusman\nWahyu Setiawan explained that the education is important to equip the\npublic with initial handling skills when facing medical emergencies. \u201cWe\nhope the public will not only participate in donating blood but also\ngain Basic Life Support knowledge so they can provide proper initial\nassistance before health workers arrive,\u201d Rusman explained. The social\naction was also attended by RSCM Blood Service Unit representative Dr\nMustafa, HPSS Advisory Board member Andi Agung, and local RT\/RW\nadministrators.
