        "content": "<p>Inco's profit increases<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA (JP): PT International Nickel Indonesia (Inco) posted<br>\na nearly 50 percent increase in its net profit in the second<br>\nquarter of this year, rising to US$13.2 million from $7.4 million<br>\nin the same period of 1994.<\/p>\n<p>The company said in its unaudited financial report, the higher<br>\nprofit raised the net earning per share to six U.S. cents from<br>\nthree cents in the same period.<\/p>\n<p>Inco's net earning for the first six months of 1995 rose to<br>\n$39 million from $16.1 million in the corresponding period of<br>\n1994.<\/p>\n<p>The company said that the higher earnings were caused mainly<br>\nby higher nickel prices on the world market.(hen)<\/p>",
