Transformation\nmust extend beyond environmental aspects to encompass the entire\naviation value chain. INACA Chairman Denon Prawiraatmadja stated that\nthis agenda will be the focus of the Indonesia Aero Summit (IAS) 2026,\nscheduled for 8\u20139 July in Jakarta. \u201cThrough an ecosystem approach, all\nstakeholders\u2014government, airport operators, airlines, manufacturing\nindustries, energy providers, research institutions, and educational\nbodies\u2014are encouraged to collaborate in creating innovative solutions,\u201d\nsaid Denon on Wednesday (29\/4\/2026). He explained that the\ntransformation includes developing sustainable aviation fuel (SAF),\ncarbon trading, modernising airport infrastructure, and improving air\ntraffic management efficiency. Utilising digital technology is also a\nkey factor in enhancing operational performance. \u201cSustainable aviation\nmust be able to enhance national connectivity, drive regional economic\ngrowth, and continue to consider the welfare of the workforce and\nsurrounding communities,\u201d Denon added.
