Entikong\nCustoms, along with TNI personnel and a joint intelligence team,\nthwarted the distribution of cigarettes without excise stamps in the\nIndonesia-Malaysia border region on Friday (27\/3\/2026).<\/p>\n<p>The Head of the Entikong Customs Office, Rudi Endro Pratikto, stated\nthat the integrated operation involved personnel from Entikong Customs,\nthe RI-MLY Border Task Force of Battalion Arhanud 1\/PBC\/1 Kostrad, Intel\nSatgas, BAIS TNI, SGI TNI, Intel Korem 121\/ABW, and Unit Inteldim\n1204\/SGU in Dusun Entabang, Desa Pala Pasang, Kecamatan Entikong,\nKabupaten Sanggau.<\/p>\n<p>During the joint patrol, according to Rudi, officers discovered an\nunoccupied hut suspected to be a storage site for smuggled goods.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cInside, the officers found ownerless items consisting of illegal\ncigarettes believed to originate from Malaysia. Subsequently, the\nofficers secured and transported all the goods to the Entikong Customs\nOffice for further examination,\u201d he explained in a statement on Tuesday\n(7\/4\/2026).<\/p>\n<p>The total seized goods amounted to 80 cartons of cigarettes without\nexcise stamps, detailed as 74 cartons of Era Flavor cigarettes totalling\n740,000 sticks and 6 cartons of Win Mild cigarettes totalling 76,800\nsticks.<\/p>\n<p>Although no perpetrators were found at the location, the illegal\ngoods are suspected of violating Law No.\u00a039 of 2007 on Excise.
