SAR teams then moved to\nconduct search and evacuation operations at several affected\nlocations.<\/p>\n<p>Rescue teams carried out searches for victims amid the rubble of\nbuildings after the magnitude 7.7 earthquake in Maumere, East Nusa\nTenggara Province. Officers combed through collapsed structures to\nensure no victims remained buried.<\/p>\n<p>The shallow earthquake triggered damage in several areas of Flores\nand was strongly felt by the public.
