        "content": "<p>JAKARTA - The Directorate General of Immigration (Ditjen Imigrasi)\nhas secured 346 foreign nationals (WNA) from 36 countries in the\nsimultaneous Operation Wira Waspada conducted across Indonesia from 7-11\nApril 2026.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAll units of the Directorate General of Immigration successfully\nsecured 346 foreign nationals suspected of committing immigration\nviolations,\u201d said Director General of Immigration, Hendarsam Marantoko,\nduring a press conference at the Immigration office in Jakarta on Monday\n(13\/4\/2026).<\/p>\n<p>Director General of Immigration, Hendarsam Marantoko, stated that the\noperation results showed that hundreds of foreign nationals committed\nthe most violations in the form of misuse of residence permits.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, officers also found other violations such as unreported\naddress changes, lack of valid documents, fictitious investors, and\noverstaying.<\/p>\n<p>Hendarsam said the foreign nationals caught came from various\ncountries, with the largest number from the People\u2019s Republic of China\n(183 people), followed by Pakistan (21 people), Nigeria (20 people),\nJapan (13 people), and several other countries such as Singapore, South\nKorea, Japan, and India.<\/p>\n<p>He said the Wira Waspada operation was carried out with a\ncomprehensive and data-based approach to ensure effective oversight.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe continue to encourage improvements in the efficiency and ease of\nimmigration services, but this does not mean there is tolerance for\nviolations.
