        "content": "<p>IMF's labor remarks cause anger<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA: The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has been warned<br>\nagainst interfering in the deliberations of a manpower bill at<br>\nthe House of Representatives.<\/p>\n<p>Rekso Ageng Herman of House Commission VII on manpower said on<br>\nSaturday the bill was expected to be passed on Feb. 11.<\/p>\n<p>\"The enactment of this law is not to satisfy the IMF's will or<br>\nto bow to it,\" Rekso of the Indonesian Democratic Party of<br>\nStruggle (PDI Perjuangan) said.<\/p>\n<p>He was responding to a statement by the IMF's senior adviser<br>\nfor the Asia Pacific, Daniel Citrin, who asked the Ministry of<br>\nManpower and Transmigration to enact the law soon.<\/p>\n<p>Rekso demanded an apology from the Washington-based financial<br>\nbody for Citrin's statement, which according to the legislator<br>\ntrespassed on Indonesia's internal affairs. -- Antara<\/p>",
