She noted that many people have voiced aspirations that needed\nprogrammes should not be fragmented due to alleged budget constraints.\nShe expressed hope that the Jakarta provincial government can optimise\nthe Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget to deliver programmes that\nhave a direct impact on residents\u2019 welfare. \u201cWith this surviving APBD,\nit is hoped the Jakarta provincial government can continue to be\ncreative in building Jakarta and target improvements in public welfare,\u201d\nshe said. Regarding the theme of Jakarta\u2019s 499th anniversary, \u201cMoving\nTowards a New Era for Jakarta\u201d, Ima assessed that the theme reflects a\nspirit to continue development amid fiscal conditions that differ from\nthe previous year. According to her, approaching Jakarta\u2019s 500th year,\nall levels of the provincial government need to keep innovating so that\nthe wheels of development and public services continue to run well.\n\u201cEven though the APBD conditions are not the same as last year, we must\nkeep moving, remain creative, and continue making various efforts so\nthat Jakarta\u2019s development engine keeps running,\u201d she said. She also\ninvited the government and the public to continue strengthening\ncollaboration in building the capital city. She hopes the Jakarta\nprovincial government can continue to build public trust through quality\nservices, while the community plays an active role in supporting various\ndevelopment programmes. \u201cHopefully the government and the community can\ncontinue to collaborate,\u201d she said.
