        "content": "<p>Illegal logging continues in Bogor<\/p>\n<p>BOGOR: Illegal logging activities continue to occur in the<br>\nforests at Curug and Jugalaya villages, in the Jasinga district<br>\nof Bogor regency.<\/p>\n<p>The forests are seriously damaged as the illegal loggers<br>\npersist in felling trees with diameters of 50 centimeters to 100<br>\ncentimeters. Not only are the activities harmful to the<br>\nenvironment, they could also make nearby areas liable to<br>\nflooding.<\/p>\n<p>Illegal loggers started to cut the trees at the forests, which<br>\nare under the management of the Research and Development<br>\nInstitute of the State Forestry Estate (Perhutani), a few months<br>\nago.<\/p>\n<p>Sources said that some officers from the police and Perhutani<br>\nmight be involved in the timber theft.<\/p>\n<p>But an officer of Perhutani, M.
