        "content": "<p>Illegal logger shot dead in Kerinci park<\/p>\n<p>JAMBI, Jambi: One man was shot dead in a scuffle between<br>\npolice and a group of illegal loggers in the Kerinci Seblat<br>\nNational Park (TNKS) in Jambi, local police announced on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>Adj. Sr. Comr. Dwi Hartono, chief of the Kerinci Police, said<br>\non Monday that the police caught the group logging illegally in<br>\nthe border area between Kerinci regency and Pesisir Selatan<br>\nregency in South Sumatra last weekend.<\/p>\n<p>The looters reportedly attacked the five patrolling policemen<br>\nwith knives, at which the officers fired shots. Syaf was shot in<br>\nthe encounter.<\/p>\n<p>\"Syaf died on his way to the hospital in Sungai Penuh, Kerinci<br>\nregency, 410 kilometers from Jambi.
