        "content": "<p>Illegal jeans factory raided<\/p>\n<p>BOGOR: An illegal jeans factory, owned by Abdul Halim, in<br>\nTanah Bari village, Bogor, West Java, was raided by the Bogor<br>\nDistrict Police after being suspected of making imitations of<br>\ndesigner label Lea jeans.<\/p>\n<p>Police managed to confiscate some 1,230 fake jeans and 16<br>\nsewing machines from the factory.<\/p>\n<p>Deputy of the police detectives division, First Insp. Djajang<br>\nNurjaman, said on Friday that police raided the factory after<br>\nreceiving a report from Binsar Limbong of the Lea office.<\/p>\n<p>Prior to the report, Binsar had made an investigation to<br>\nconfirm the production of the fake jeans, which can be easily be<br>\ndifferentiated from the original Lea jeans.<\/p>\n<p>The original has a LEA 45 mark on the zipper, a leather label<br>\non the back of the trousers, and an unfaded orange label attached<br>\nto the inner fold.<\/p>\n<p>Official said that the production of fake jeans had been<br>\nrunning for three months, involving 14 employees. --JP<\/p>",
