        "content": "<p>Officers from the Jambi Customs and Excise Supervision and Service\nOffice (KPPBC TMP B) destroyed over four million illegal cigarettes and\na range of other illicit imported goods worth around Rp3.5 billion on\nWednesday (24\/6).<\/p>\n<p>KPPBC TMP B Jambi Head Dafit Kasianto explained that the illegal\nitems were the result of 115 enforcement actions over the past 12 months\n(June 2025 to May 2026) in the Jambi region, carried out in cooperation\nwith relevant stakeholders.<\/p>\n<p>All the destroyed goods, Dafit noted, had already been designated as\nstate property and received destruction approval from the Minister of\nFinance via the Director of State Asset Management and the Jambi State\nAsset and Auction Service Office (KPKNL).<\/p>\n<p>The items included 4,708,484 sticks of illegal cigarettes of various\nbrands, approximately 326 litres of high-alcohol liquor, 300 cartons of\ncanned drinks, 26 cartons of expired creamer milk, as well as 67 used\nprocessors, 10 used tablets and laptops, and two used mobile phones.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis destruction, besides being a manifestation of law enforcement,\nalso serves as a firm message that the state is always present to\nprotect the public from the circulation of illegal goods,\u201d Dafit told\nreporters in Jambi on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>Dafit Kasianto expressed hope that all levels of society in Jambi\nwould actively participate in ridding the region of the penetration of\nillegal goods.<\/p>",
