Muhammad Abzar Duraesa, Dean of the Faculty of Ushuluddin,\nAdab, and Dakwah at Sultan Aji Muhammad Idris State Islamic University\n(UIN) Samarinda, who frequently serves as a khatib or delivers sermons,\nis deemed suitable to be the khatib in Nusantara.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the imam for the Eid prayer will be Dr.\u00a0Ahmad Muzakir, a\nlecturer at PTIQ Jakarta University. The reserve khatib and imam is\nDr.\u00a0M. Aroka Fadli, a lecturer at STAI Al-Muhajirin Purwakarta,\u201d said\nTroy Pantouw, Spokesperson for the IKN Authority, in Nusantara on\nThursday.<\/p>\n<p>Troy, who is also the Special Staff to the Head of the IKN Authority\nfor Public Communications, continued that the Eid prayer is scheduled to\nbegin at 06:30 WITA and is open to the general public who wish to\nperform the worship together in Indonesia\u2019s new capital, so he invites\nthe public who want to join the congregational Eid prayer to come.<\/p>\n<p>As part of the series of activities for the initial determination of\nShawwal, on 19 March, hilal observation will also be conducted in IKN.\nThis observation is part of the national process for determining the\nstart of the month of Shawwal 1447 Hijriah.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTo support the smooth implementation of the Eid prayer, access to\nthe IKN Toll Road leading to the IKN National Mosque area will be opened\nstarting at 04:30 WITA. The public attending the prayer is advised to\narrive early and follow the instructions of the on-site officers.<\/p>\n<p>The IKN Authority also provides parking bags for worshippers\u2019\nvehicles. The public can park their vehicles in the basement of the\nNational Mosque. If that area is full, parking will be redirected to\nroads around the National Mosque area according to the directions of the\non-site officers.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, in-city shuttle buses will serve trips to the National\nMosque via stops at Rusun ASN 1, Rusun ASN 2, Rusun ASN 3, Rusun ASN 4,\nHPK 1, HPK 2, and Rest Area.<\/p>\n<p>All those routes will transit at the East Axis Roundabout before\nheading to the National Mosque area to facilitate the mobility of\nworshippers. The bus service for Eid al-Fitr prayer will operate from\n05:00 to 09:00 WITA.<\/p>\n<p>Mobility facilities in the form of golf carts are also provided for\ngroups that need them, such as the elderly, pregnant women, and persons\nwith disabilities, to facilitate access to the prayer location.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe implementation of the first Eid al-Fitr prayer at the National\nMosque marks the increasing liveliness of religious activities in IKN\nand becomes part of the journey in building the social and cultural\necosystem in Indonesia\u2019s new capital,\u201d he said.<\/p>",
