        "content": "<p>The Head of the Nusantara Capital Authority (OIKN), Basuki\nHadimuljono, has outlined several priority programmes that his agency\nwill undertake in 2026. Among them are the planning and development of\nareas as well as the relocation of civil servants or ASN.<\/p>\n<p>Basuki stated that these priority activities are included in the OIKN\nstrategic plan for 2025-2029. \u201cTo support the development of the\nNusantara Capital, it encompasses two priority activities, namely area\ndevelopment planning and ASN coaching,\u201d he said during a meeting with\nCommission II of the DPR at the Parliamentary Complex in Senayan,\nJakarta, on Monday, 30 March 2026.<\/p>\n<p>He explained that one of the main area development activities in IKN\nthis year is the spatial arrangement of the Core Government Centre Area\n(KIPP) and its surroundings. Here, OIKN will begin constructing\nlegislative and judicial buildings and offices, such as the DPR\nbuilding, the Supreme Court, and various other government\ninstitutions.<\/p>\n<p>Not only office buildings, the judicial and legislative housing\ndevelopment also includes the construction of decent, affordable, and\nsustainable family housing, as well as supporting facilities and\ninfrastructure such as drinking water management systems, domestic\nwastewater, and waste.<\/p>\n<p>The government plans to build the core government area in IKN on land\nof 850-1,100 hectares. Basuki said the total requirement to build the\nlegislative and judicial areas in IKN reaches Rp20 trillion with a\nmulti-year contract scheme in 2025-2027.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThen in 2026 as the second year of that multi-year contract, the\nconstruction of batch 2 will continue with the allocation we have\nprepared in the 2026 DIPA of Rp3.7 trillion,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, OIKN\u2019s other priority is the relocation of ASN. Based on\nthe 2026 Government Work Plan (RKP) indicators and the OIKN Strategic\nPlan 2025-2029, Basuki said, the number of ASN to be relocated this year\nranges from 1,700 to 4,100 people.<\/p>",
