        "content": "<p>The Indonesian Geothermal Association (Inaga) will hold the 12th\nIndonesia International Geothermal Convention and Exhibition (IIGCE) on\n19\u201321 August 2026 in Jakarta to discuss the acceleration of geothermal\ndevelopment in support of the national energy transition and\nsecurity.<\/p>\n<p>Inaga Chairman Julfi Hadi said geothermal development requires\ntechnological and financial support as well as stronger coordination\namong stakeholders.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAccelerating geothermal energy development depends not only on\ntechnological sophistication and funding, but also on the solidarity of\nthe stakeholders driving it,\u201d Julfi said in an official statement\nreceived in Jakarta on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>IIGCE 2026 will take place at the Jakarta International Convention\nCenter (JICC) under the theme \u201cEnergy Self-Sufficiency for a Stronger\nIndonesia: Geothermal as the Baseload Driving Energy Transition and\nSecurity.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>According to the official IIGCE agenda, President Prabowo Subianto is\nscheduled to deliver a keynote address during the opening ceremony on 19\nAugust.<\/p>\n<p>Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Bahlil Lahadalia is\nalso scheduled to deliver a report at the opening session.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, Minister of Investment and Downstreaming as well as CEO\nof the Daya Anagata Nusantara Investment Management Agency (Danantara)\nRosan Roeslani is scheduled to be a keynote speaker in a plenary session\ntitled \u201cGeothermal for National Energy Self-Independence.\u201d<\/p>",
