        "content": "<p>Jakarta, VIVA - The Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) continued to\nexperience a sustained decline, plunging below the 7,000 level. The IHSG\nfell 0.79 per cent or 55.77 points to 6,971 during the first trading\nsession on Monday, 6 April 2026.<\/p>\n<p>The IHSG was observed moving in the range of 7.009 to its lowest\npoint at 6.935. The transaction value was recorded at Rp 8.45 trillion,\nwith a daily trading volume of 16.57 billion shares and 1.01 million\ntransactions.<\/p>\n<p>The non-cyclical consumer sector experienced the deepest drop of 1.40\nper cent. Other sectors that recorded sharp declines included\ntransportation, which fell 1.37 per cent, and infrastructure, which\nweakened by 1.32 per cent.<\/p>\n<p>Nevertheless, the cyclical consumer sector declined by 1.61 per cent.\nPositive results were also recorded in the industrial sector at 1.43 per\ncent and the energy sector rose 0.51 per cent.<\/p>\n<p>Analysts from Phintraco Sekuritas observed that, technically, the\nformation of a positive histogram on the MACD is tending to shrink. The\nStochastic RSI indicator has the potential for a Death Cross in the\noverbought area.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTherefore, we predict that the IHSG has the potential to move in the\nrange of 6,950-7,000 during the second trading session,\u201d stated an\nanalyst from Phintraco Sekuritas, quoted from their daily research on\nMonday, 6 April 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Phintraco Sekuritas reported that several issuers shone brightly\ndespite the IHSG still being battered by correction storms. Here are the\ntop gainers among the 45 leading stocks (LQ45).<\/p>\n<p>PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI)<\/p>\n<p>BUMI shares surged 6.14 per cent or 14 points to 242.<\/p>\n<p>PT Amman Mineral Internasional Tbk (AMMN)<\/p>\n<p>AMMN shares strengthened 2.98 per cent or 140 points to 4,840.<\/p>\n<p>PT Bukit Asam (Persero) Tbk (PTBA)<\/p>\n<p>PTBA shares rose 2.75 per cent or 80 points, breaking through the\n2,990 area.<\/p>",
