        "content": "<p>JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - The Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) moved\ninto positive territory at the close of the first trading session on\nWednesday (6\/5\/2026). The index rose 0.65% to the level of 7,102.<\/p>\n<p>The strengthening of the IHSG this afternoon was supported by several\nlarge-cap stocks, particularly shares from the Barito Group and consumer\nstocks. Shares of PT Chandra Asri Pacific Tbk (TPIA) surged 7.4%, while\nPT Barito Pacific Tbk (BRPT) strengthened 2.6%.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, shares of PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk (UNVR) also served\nas a main supporter of the index after soaring 8.8% in the first trading\nsession.<\/p>\n<p>From a sectoral perspective, the majority of sectoral indices were in\npositive territory. The strengthening was led by the transportation\nsector and the basic materials sector.<\/p>\n<p>Conversely, finance was the only sectoral index recorded as weakening\nuntil the close of the first session.<\/p>\n<p>In aggregate, throughout the first trading session, the IHSG remained\nin positive territory, briefly reaching a high of 7,127.721. Meanwhile,\nthe lowest level was at 7,049.920.<\/p>\n<p>The strengthening of the IHSG was supported by the majority of stocks\nmoving higher. As many as 377 stocks rose, 240 stocks weakened, and 194\nstocks were stagnant.<\/p>\n<p>Trading activity was observed to be brisk. The transaction volume\nreached 22.572 billion shares with a transaction value of Rp 10.466\ntrillion. The trading frequency was 1,492,796 transactions.<\/p>",
