Jakarta (ANTARA) - PT Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) is targeting an\nincrease of 50,000 Single Investor Identification (SID) for active\nSharia investors by 2026, a significant increase from the previous\nyear\u2019s target of 13,500 SID.<\/p>\n
\u201cLast year, the target was only 13,500 additional Sharia investors.\nThis year, it\u2019s 50,000. Because in 2025, the company saw an achievement\nof 43,000 SID. This means that if the target was only 13,500 SID, it\nwould be too low. So, the target was increased to 50,000 SID,\u201d said the\nHead of the Sharia Capital Market Division of the IDX, Irwan Abdalloh,\nduring a Sharia Capital Market Education session in Jakarta,\nThursday.<\/p>\n
As of December 2025, the total number of Sharia investors in the\nIndonesian capital market was recorded at 217,157 SID, a significant\nincrease compared to 169,397 Sharia investors in 2024.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, the number of active Sharia investors was recorded at\n43,135 SID as of December 2025, an increase compared to 30,979 SID at\nthe end of 2024.<\/p>\n
\u201cI am now more pleased, the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) is more\npleased to highlight the achievements made by the 217,000 Sharia\ninvestors. Of the 217,000 Sharia investors, their transactions have\nreached IDR 11.2 trillion,\u201d said Irwan.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, the volume of transactions by Sharia investors was\nrecorded at 30.6 billion shares as of December 2025, with the frequency\nof transactions by Sharia investors reaching 2.7 million times as of\nDecember 2025.<\/p>\n
