        "content": "<p>IDX: Over 10 Managers Interested in Gold ETF Products<\/p>\n<p>Reporter<\/p>\n<p>April 20, 2026 | 01:23 pm<\/p>\n<p>TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) has revealed\nthat over 10 investment managers have expressed interest in issuing gold\nExchange Traded Fund (ETF) products. IDX Corporate Secretary Kautsar\nPrimadi Nurahmad stated that several investment managers have already\nsigned cooperation agreements with key stakeholders within the gold ETF\necosystem.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFrom the perspective of industry readiness, market interest in this\nproduct is quite high,\u201d Kautsar told Tempo on Sunday, April 19,\n2026.<\/p>\n<p>To facilitate the issuance of these gold ETFs, the IDX is currently\nadjusting regulations that are expected to come into effect shortly.<\/p>\n<p>Kautsar explained that the development of gold ETFs is presently in\nits pre-launch phase. The current progress includes the structuring of\nproduct and business models, the preparation of supporting ecosystems,\nranging from investment managers to participating dealers, and the\nfinalization of regulatory aspects at the Self-Regulatory Organization\n(SRO) and operational levels.<\/p>\n<p>The Financial Services Authority (OJK) aims to have gold-based ETF\nproducts launched by the second quarter of 2026. Hasan Fawzi, Head of\nthe Executive Board for Capital Market Supervision, Financial\nDerivatives, and Carbon Exchange at OJK, stated that all stakeholders\nare currently finalizing preparations for the debut.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cConsidering the current progress, our target indicates that the\nlaunch can proceed within the first half of 2026, specifically in Q2,\u201d\nHasan said during a virtual press conference on Monday, April 6,\n2026.<\/p>\n<p>The OJK has already established the necessary legal framework through\nOJK Regulation Number 2 of 2026.
