        "content": "<p>Palu (ANTARA) - PT Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) Central Sulawesi\nRepresentative Office, in collaboration with Hannah Asa Indonesia, is\nworking to strengthen investment literacy for the younger generation in\nthe region.<\/p>\n<p>Head of the IDX Central Sulawesi Representative Office, Putri\nIrnawati, in Palu on Wednesday, stated that investment is a long-term\nprocess that must be underpinned by a strong understanding.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cInvestment is about managing assets to yield results in the future,\nbut it always comes with risks. Therefore, investors must understand the\nproducts, mechanisms, and risks involved, rather than simply following\ntrends,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>For this reason, her office and the Hannah Asa Indonesia community,\nwhich focuses on financial literacy, are collaborating to organise the\nBootcamp Smart Financial Journey, which is also linked to Kartini Day\ncommemorations, to boost investment literacy and financial understanding\namong the youth.<\/p>\n<p>In this training, participants not only receive theoretical education\nbut are also guided to understand investment basics, recognise risk\nprofiles, and start investing through practical sessions in \u201cGet Started\nWith Bibit\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, she said, IDX continues to conduct outreach and\neducation to the public through investment galleries.<\/p>\n<p>Her office also consistently educates the public about bogus\ninvestments, emphasising that prospective capital market investors must\nunderstand the characteristics of legitimate investments to avoid\nfalling into misleading schemes.<\/p>\n<p>By December 2025, the number of registered capital market investors\nin Central Sulawesi under the Single Investor Identification (SID)\nreached 216,045 SID, up from 144,159 SID in December 2024.<\/p>\n<p>Mutual funds remain the dominant instrument with 164,562 SID, or\nabout 76.17 percent of total investors. Meanwhile, stock investors\nincreased to 42,271 SID from 29,198 SID the previous year. Government\nSecurities (SBN) investors also rose to 4,212 SID from 3,282 SID\npreviously.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Founder of Hannah Asa Indonesia, Mardiyah, said that this\nprogramme is not just training but part of a broader movement.<\/p>\n<p>According to her, the current challenge is no longer about financial\naccess but the quality of financial decisions.<\/p>\n<p>Therefore, her side aims to produce a generation that not only can\ninvest but also understands and educates others.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis year, we target the emergence of 1,000 financial literacy\neducators from Eastern Indonesia who can become agents of change in\nsociety,\u201d she stated.<\/p>",
