Idris Sardi to make a comeback<\/p>\n
JAKARTA: Idris Sardi, Indonesia's best-known violinist, will
\ntake center stage in Jakarta in June, almost 10 years after his
\nretirement, his publicist said on Tuesday.<\/p>\n
Sardi's last concert was on Aug. 9, 1994 when he performed for
\nthe 29th anniversary of Kompas daily. He called it his \"farewell
\nconcert\".<\/p>\n
His planned concert on June 18, 2003 at Sahid Jaya Hotel,
\nJakarta, will mark his 65th birthday and 50 years in the
\nprofession.<\/p>\n
\"He wants to present something wonderful to God and to
\nIndonesia for all the great talent bestowed on him,\" his
\npublicist Joan Henuhili-Raturandang said.<\/p>\n
In the upcoming concert titled Persembahan Idris Sardi 2003
\n(Idris Sardi's Contribution 2003), Sardi will retain his typical

\nCharming on the screen but he says he is secretly a cad and hates
\nacting so much that he's ready to take some time off, meet a nice
\ngirl and settle down.<\/p>\n
\"I'm ready, baby. I need to get married and have children,\"
\nGrant, 42, told Vanity Fair magazine.<\/p>\n
\"Put it this way,\" he said. \"If I went to a party tonight and
\nbumped into a fantastic girl, whereas three years ago it might
\nhave led to a short-term relationship, now I definitely keep my
\nthoughts open to the idea of settling down. Definitely.\"<\/p>\n
Grant, who has spent years as a bachelor, also dismissed the
\nidea that he could rekindle a romance with actress and model
\nElizabeth Hurley, with whom he spent more than a decade.<\/p>\n
\"She's with another guy and, you know, we're good friends,\" he
\nsaid. \"But no, that train has sailed as Austin Powers would say.\"<\/p>\n
Grant told the magazine that he wants to take a break from
\nacting to focus on his personal life, but also because he \"hates\"
