        "content": "<p>Jakarta, VIVA - The Indonesia Commodity and Derivatives Exchange\n(ICDX), or the Indonesia Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (BKDI), has\nreleased trading data for the first quarter of 2026, covering\nmultilateral transactions and the Alternative Trading System.<\/p>\n<p>In terms of total notional value, the first quarter recorded Rp12.477\ntrillion, a 96% growth compared to the notional value in the same period\nlast year, which was only Rp6.360 trillion.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, in terms of transaction volume, from January to March\n2026, the total transaction volume was recorded at 2.610.010 lots, an\nincrease of 19% compared to the same period last year with a total\ntransaction volume of 2.435.491 lots.<\/p>\n<p>Of the total transactions in Q1 2026, multilateral transactions\nexperienced a 13% growth in volume, from 408.076 lots in Q1 2025, while\nin the same period this year, the transaction volume reached 460.402\nlots.<\/p>\n<p>The notional value for multilateral transactions throughout Q1 2026\nwas recorded at Rp110.5 trillion, a 233% growth compared to the notional\nvalue in the same period last year, which was only Rp33.1 trillion.<\/p>\n<p>For transactions in the Alternative Trading System, there was a 6%\ngrowth in transaction volume, from 2.027.415 lots throughout Q1 2025 to\n2.149.608 lots in the same period this year.<\/p>\n<p>The notional value for Alternative Trading System transactions\nthroughout Q1 2026 was recorded at Rp12.366 trillion, a 95% growth\ncompared to the notional value in the same period last year of Rp6.327\ntrillion.<\/p>\n<p>Regarding transaction records, the total volume at ICDX was recorded\nat 10.334.487 lots with a notional value of Rp31.999 trillion throughout\n2025. Of the total transactions, multilateral transactions were recorded\nat 2.350.664 lots with a notional value of Rp427.5 trillion.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Alternative Trading System transactions were recorded at\n7.983.823 lots with a notional value of Rp31.572 trillion.<\/p>\n<p>ICDX Director Nursalam stated that as an exchange organising trading,\nit will continue to enhance services to all stakeholders, of course, in\nefforts to improve the performance of the commodity futures trading\nindustry in Indonesia.<\/p>\n<p>Looking at the transaction records throughout Q1 2026, he projects\nthat the growth trend will continue until the end of the year. Nursalam\nis also optimistic that transactions will grow by around 20% by the end\nof 2026 compared to the previous year.<\/p>",
