Chinese automotive brand iCar, operating under the Chery umbrella,\nsecured 300 vehicle booking orders (SPK) for its electric SUV, the iCar\nV23, during its debut at the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS)\n2026, held at JIExpo Kemayoran, Jakarta, from 5 to 15 February.<\/p>\n
In a press release on Thursday (19\/2), the company stated that the\nachievement reflected strong consumer interest in the iCar V23 as a\npremium electric vehicle option.<\/p>\n
Consumer enthusiasm for iCar vehicles was also evident from the large\nnumber of exhibition visitors who flocked to the iCar stand at IIMS\n2026. More than 15,000 people were recorded visiting the iCar stand\nthroughout the exhibition.<\/p>\n
At IIMS 2026, iCar showcased the iCar V23 along with the V23 OG and\nPro Edition, featuring retro and cyberspace designs.<\/p>\n
The company collaborated with the National Modificator and\nAftermarket Association (NMAA) to demonstrate the V23\u2019s flexibility as a\ncanvas for creativity and personalisation in vehicle modification.<\/p>\n
The company provided test drive services at IIMS 2026. More than 818\ntest drive sessions were conducted using iCar vehicles during the\nexhibition.<\/p>\n
A total of 536 test drive sessions using the iCar V23 were carried\nout on a standard track, whilst 282 additional sessions took place on a\nspecial track designed to explore the vehicle\u2019s capabilities on more\nextreme terrain at the Chery x iCar Adventure Park area.<\/p>\n
On the special track, which included courses such as the Articulation\nTrack, Side Slope Track, and Elevation Track with incline angles of up\nto 38 degrees, test drive participants could experience first-hand the\nstability, suspension performance, and response of the Intelligent\nAll-Wheel Drive (i-WD) system.<\/p>\n
