Anwar Nasution once said that the central bank was a
\n\"plunderers' nest\", and now the Indonesian Bank Restructuring
\nAgency (IBRA) is nothing but a \"robbers' nest\". Why won't it be
\nif, as the new chairman of IBRA had announced, almost every IBRA
\ngroup head is also commissioner of debtor companies.<\/p>\n
Most amazing to note, one IBRA official is apparently the
\ncommissioner of nine debtor companies and earns about Rp 30
\nmillion from each company. Moreover, if an IBRA official acts as
\na middleman in the selling of IBRA assets, he has the opportunity
\nto earn extra. Therefore these officials may press the asset
\nprices as low as possible to meet the buyer's interests.<\/p>\n
Therefore, IBRA chairman I Putu Gede Ary Suta should
\nimmediately rid the agency of these \"robbers\" uncompromisingly.
\nIt clearly shows that money and wealth are their prime objective.
\nIt appears they are robbing the state under the pretext of
\nupholding the supremacy of law and heeding the interests of the
\npeople.<\/p>\n
This state and nation will surely be shattered if opportunists
\noccupy positions in IBRA. They should be dismissed, and their
\nwealth and families' assets be thoroughly investigated.<\/p>\n
The question is, \"How much money has the state lost because of
