        "content": "<p>IBRA employees&apos; severance pay<\/p>\n<p>From Koran Tempo<\/p>\n<p>The Indonesian Bank Restructuring Agency (IBRA) is making<br>\nseverance pay available for its 2,500 employees, worth half a<br>\ntrillion rupiah.<\/p>\n<p>Some 1,600 of its regular employees and 900 workers on a<br>\ncontract basis will be relieved of their jobs with the end of<br>\nIBRA&apos;s assignment period on Feb. 27.<\/p>\n<p>With the task of improving the conditions of unsound banks and<br>\nselling their assets, IBRA has never announced to the public the<br>\nachievements it has made, or the losses it has inflicted on the<br>\nstate.<\/p>\n<p>It has been common knowledge that IBRA officials receive big<br>\nsalaries and various allowances. Now as the agency is to be<br>\nliquidated, its employees reportedly demand fantastic sums of<br>\nseverance pay. Who is supposed to control it?
