The Deputy General Chairman of the Democrat Party expressed his pride\nand hopes. He stressed that the opportunity they receive today is not\nordinary, but rather an important starting point in their life\njourney.<\/p>\n
\u201cIn life, there is always a first opportunity. Use this opportunity\nas best as possible to learn, adapt, and achieve excellence,\u201d he stated\nin a written release on Thursday (9\/4\/2026).<\/p>\n
He invited the participants to understand the significance of their\npresence in the DPR\/MPR building as a symbol of the state being present\nfor the people. He affirmed that Indonesia\u2019s greatness, with its\ndiversity of ethnicities, cultures, and regions from Sabang to Merauke,\nis a strength that must be preserved together.<\/p>\n
Amid a global situation full of challenges and uncertainties, the\nChairman of the Defence and Security Division of the FKPPI Family\nAssociation reminded that Indonesia\u2019s young generation has great\nopportunities to grow and develop in a relatively stable\nenvironment.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe future of this nation rests in your hands. The state provides\ntrust through the KIP-K programme and various education scholarships.\nThis is not merely assistance, but an investment in the nation\u2019s\nfuture,\u201d he emphasised.<\/p>\n
In a relaxed dialogue atmosphere, the Member of the East Java VII\nElectoral District also highlighted the importance of building networks\nand collaboration among students from various regions and disciplines.\nHe viewed the diversity of backgrounds, from energy, agriculture,\ncommunication, to technology, as a strength to complement each other in\naddressing national challenges.<\/p>\n
Furthermore, Ibas delivered a strong message for the students never\nto feel small due to their limitations.<\/p>\n
\u201cNever feel small because of all limitations. Prove that you can\nbecome great individuals who bring change,\u201d he advised.<\/p>\n
Facing global dynamics, the DPR RI Member from the East Java VII\nElectoral District encouraged the young generation to be part of the\nsolution, especially in strategic sectors like energy, food, and\ntechnology. He emphasised the importance of innovation, creativity, and\nthe utilisation of scientific knowledge to meet the needs of the\ntimes.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe need young innovators who can provide solutions in the field of\nclean energy, strengthen food security, and utilise technology\nproductively and sustainably,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n
Ibas also urged the students to continue dreaming big, but\naccompanied by hard work and perseverance in the process.<\/p>\n
\u201cDream as high as possible, but remember that dreams must be fought\nfor with discipline, mental resilience, and courage to face failure,\u201d he\nadded.<\/p>\n
At the end of the meeting, Ibas conveyed a message about the\nimportance of love for the homeland. He invited the young generation to\nmaintain idealism while being realistic in facing life.<\/p>\n
\u201cContinue to love this country. Right or wrong, it\u2019s my country,\u201d he\nsaid.<\/p>\n
Ibas also advised the students to eventually return to their\nrespective regions and make real contributions to development.<\/p>\n

Concluding his remarks, Ibas expressed prayers and hopes that all\nKIP-K recipient students can achieve success, maintain their learning\nspirit, and continue to benefit the nation and state.<\/p>\n
