The 29-year-old Bogor-born woman went from being part
of the marketing staff on Good Morning Hard Rockers to cohosting
the radio station's weekly morning show over the past three
years.

She has also branched out into TV, and can be seen weekly on
two shows, including Pesta with her regular TV and radio sidekick
Farhan.

Indy talked last week about her life and what she looks
forward to in the future.

Question: If you had the choice, what would you be doing now?

Answer: I would marry someone (laughs). About my career, I just enjoy
my work very much. My jobs are varied, and there are positive and
negative things about them.

I sometimes feel jealous of my married friends, but I can
enjoy my loneliness. If I had married yesterday or a few days
ago, my career would probably have changed. Many people believe
that a marriage can change one's career, and so do I.

Q: What makes you tick?

A: My mother. She is the special woman in my life. After her
divorce, she was able to struggle alone to take care of me.

Q: Which trait do you most like about yourself?

A: Um ... (thinking). According to my friends, I get close to
people easily. Perhaps it's because when I'm sitting next to a
stranger, I can't keep my mouth shut and I will start to talk to
them ...

Q: And deplore?

A: I am moody. My assistant must understand my condition when I
am in a bad mood. My down mood usually influences my performance
as an emcee. If something bad happens to me, it's hard for me to
get back into a good mood.

Q: Whom do you admire?

A: If I admire someone, automatically I will try to look like
that person. If I admire Julia Robert, I will make my hair curly
because I know her curly hair looks beautiful. I am close to
other people in my profession because I think each of them has
something attractive about them and a special skill, even though
they have the same job as me. I am lucky that I am close with (TV
and radio hosts) Muthia Kasim and Indra Safera, so I can learn
from them. I would like to be like Oprah Winfrey or Ricky Lake,
but from a different aspect.

Q: Do you worry about your weight?

A: Yes, I do. I've been overweight. Hey, see the fat on my waist
(holding her stomach), it looks like a pager. I need someone who
always reminds me about my weight. If I start gaining weight, I
won't eat at night. I prefer not having dinner to going to
exercise because I have to eat after exercising. So, the exercise
is ineffective.

Q: What makes you angry?

A: Many things can make me angry. For example, when the text that
is supposed to be used for the morning broadcast has not been
prepared yet by one of my broadcasting team, while me and the
other team members are ready to broadcast. I get angry because I
have to broadcast the material in a rush, and listeners don't
want to know about my team's problems.

Q: When was the last time you were angry?

A: It happened yesterday when I was going to air a quiz but I did
not receive the quiz material. Oh, I was so angry.

Q: What characteristics do you like or dislike in a man?

A: I don't like a man who talks a lot. I like a man who says just
a little but has positive points -- his humor or intelligence. I
think his intelligence is not from the way he talks. I love to
find out for myself his good points.

Q: What makes you laugh?

A: There are many things in my daily work that automatically make
me laugh. I like unrehearsed jokes.

Q: What makes you sad?

A: A lot of things can make me sad. I get sad if I am
disappointed, or upset with something or if I have too little
sleep.

Q: What makes life worth living?

A: Traveling, eating and listening to music, ooh those make my
life worth living. You know, I can't stop eating except if the
food makes my stomach queasy. I can open the refrigerator four
times a day to find some food if I am staying at home.

Q: What is the cost of popularity?

A: Popularity is the result of what we have done and that result
involves many people. Its consequences push me to be careful when
I go out, because people will talk about my looks, from my hair
to my clothes. Some time ago, I thought popularity was nice but,
in fact, it's a burden.

Q: Do you have any regrets in your life?

A: Yes, I do. My parents divorced when I was about two years old.
It had a lot of effect on my life, but I gained a positive
perspective and learned many things from my parents' experience.

Q: What three things would you bring with you to a desert island?

A: Can I bring a man? I would feel comfortable if I was beside
him. I would be able to ask him to do the fishing and work
(laughs).

Ok, the three things are, first, clothes to keep me covered,
so I wouldn't get raped! I would also bring a mirror to create a
reflection to draw rescuers' attention, and dark glasses to
protect my eyes from the sun and the mirror's reflection.
",
