I am an employee of hotel \"H\". On Aug. 25, 1995 at about 8:00
\na.m., three people (one man and two women) came in and said they
\nwanted to stay at the hotel. The man was about 40 years old and
\nthe women were 20 years and 35 years old respectively. According
\nto the man, the two women were his wives.<\/p>\n
At about noon I met the three guest again. They knew that a
\nrelative of mine was sick. They asked me to fetch my sick
\nrelative and bring a hen's egg. I did what they told me. I
\nbrought the sick relative to the guests. They started to say
\nIslamic prayers.<\/p>\n
Then they asked me to go home and prepared things that they
\nrequired as a precondition for the recovery of the sick person: a
\ncan of rice, a handful of earth taken from a cemetery and money
\namounting to Rp 440,000, together with 25 grams of gold taken
\nfrom my wife.<\/p>\n
Without my knowing, when they came to our house as promised,
\nthey put the valuables and money in the rice can, warning us not
\nto open it until the next day. The can was put inside the
\ncupboard, and the key was kept by them. Afterwards I went back
\nwith them to the hotel.<\/p>\n
In less than one hour I seemed to regain consciousness and at
\nthat moment I realized that I was deceived through hypnotism.
\nWhen I checked on the guests in the hotel, they had gone. At home
\nI found only the rice, but not the money and the valuables.<\/p>\n
