        "content": "<p>Efforts to accelerate post-disaster recovery in Sumatra continue to\nshow significant progress. This is evident from the near completion of\nthe construction of 163 temporary housing units (huntara) in Lubuk Sidup\nVillage, Sekerak Subdistrict, Aceh Tamiang Regency.<\/p>\n<p>The Head of the Task Force for Accelerating Rehabilitation and\nReconstruction (Satgas PRR) Post-Sumatra Disaster, Muhammad Tito\nKarnavian, stated that physically, the huntara are ready to be occupied,\nwith electricity networks already installed and awaiting activation.\nMeanwhile, clean water needs are being prepared through the construction\nof boreholes by the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is the huntara built by the Coordinating Minister for\nInfrastructure (Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional\nDevelopment Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono), 163 units for the Lubuk Sidup\ncommunity. We see the location is very good, with elevation. Electricity\nis already connected, just needs to be switched on. For drinking water,\nclean water is being provided using boreholes from BNPB,\u201d Tito said in a\nwritten statement on Sunday (5\/4\/2026).<\/p>\n<p>Satgas PRR targets all supporting facilities, including clean water\nand electricity activation, to be completed within the next 10 days.\nAfter that, the community will be allowed to occupy the prepared housing\nas an initial step to start a new, more decent and safe life.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to housing construction, the government has also\ndistributed various supporting aids to survivors. The aid includes meal\nallowances of Rp 15,000 per person per day, economic assistance of Rp 5\nmillion per family, and household furniture aid of Rp 3 million, to\nensure the sustainability of the community\u2019s life during the\npost-disaster recovery period.<\/p>\n<p>Overall, the progress of huntara construction in the three provinces\naffected by hydrometeorological disasters also shows encouraging\nachievements. From a total planned construction of 19,135 huntara units,\n17,084 units have been completed, equivalent to 89 per cent overall\nprogress.<\/p>\n<p>This achievement reaffirms Satgas PRR\u2019s commitment to accelerating\ncomprehensive post-disaster recovery, not only from a physical\nperspective but also from social and economic aspects for the affected\ncommunities.<\/p>\n<p>For information, during the inspection of huntara in Lubuk Sidup\nVillage, Tito was accompanied by the Director General of Regional\nAdministration Development of the Ministry of Home Affairs (Kemendagri)\nSafrizal ZA, Deputy Governor of Aceh Fadhlullah, Regent of Aceh Tamiang\nArmia Pahmi, and officials from the Forkopimda of Aceh Tamiang\nRegency.<\/p>",
