        "content": "<p>Hundreds of students in Pilangwetan Village, Kebonagung Subdistrict,\nDemak, are suspected of being poisoned by the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG)\nmenu. The Nutrition Fulfilment Service Unit (SPPG) in Pilangwetan has\nbeen temporarily halted and cordoned off by police.<\/p>\n<p>The head of Kebonagung Health Centre, Arief Setiawan, confirmed that\nhis facility had treated several patients suspected of MBG poisoning. In\naddition to those treated at the Kebonagung Health Centre, Arief\nmentioned that other MBG beneficiaries were referred to several\nhospitals.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThose at the Kebonagung Health Centre included several victims\nexperiencing nausea, vomiting, and dizziness. The health centre treated\nfive people, but after stabilisation, they were allowed to go home, so\nonly outpatient care was provided,\u201d said Arief when met by detikJateng\nat the Kebonagung Health Centre, as reported by detikJateng on Sunday\n(19\/4\/2026).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOthers were referred to three hospitals, namely PKU Muhammadiyah\nGubug Hospital, Getas Pendowo Hospital, and Sultan Fatah Karangawen\nHospital,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the students, victims also included members of the B3\ngroup (pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers, toddlers). The total\nnumber suspected of poisoning is estimated at 187 people.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAt Bustanul Quran Islamic Boarding School, 68 people were affected,\nconsisting of 33 receiving outpatient treatment at the boarding school,\n23 referred to PKU Gubug Hospital, and 12 to Getas Pendowo Hospital. At\nAsnawiyah Islamic Boarding School, 97 people were affected, consisting\nof 67 receiving outpatient treatment, 24 referred to Getas Pendowo, and\n6 to PKU Gubug,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe B3 victims numbered five, with one referred to PKU Gubug, and\nfour treated at the health centre and receiving outpatient care,\u201d he\nadded.<\/p>\n<p>Observations by detikJateng yesterday showed that the SPPG building\nin Pilangwetan was cordoned off with police tape.
