        "content": "<p>Humpuss, Karat tie up<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA (JP): PT Humpuss Trading, a subsidiary of Humpuss<br>\nGroup controlled by Hutomo (Tomy) Mandala Putra Soeharto, plans<br>\nto set up a joint venture company with Karat of Thailand to<br>\nmanufacture sanitary ware with an investment of US$27 million.<\/p>\n<p>\"We are now making a feasibility study on the plan and we have<br>\nyet to decide on the location of the planned venture's factory,\"<br>\nthe company's president, Gufron Sumariyono, said in a ceremony<br>\nFriday evening for the introduction of new sanitary products.<\/p>\n<p>He was quoted by Antara as saying that Humpuss Trading is<br>\ncurrently the sole distributor of several sanitary products with<br>\nvarious trademarks, including Karat, Jacob Delafon of France,<br>\nQuarella of Italy, Mandala Marmer of Indonesia and Alape, Bette,<br>\nEmco, Keuco and Kludi of Germany.
