        "content": "<p>Human Rights Minister Natalius Pigai stated that 15 civilians were\nkilled as a result of a firefight between security personnel and the\nWest Papua National Liberation Army (TNPPB) in Kembru Village, Sinak\nDistrict, Puncak Regency, Central Papua, on Tuesday (14\/4).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA total of 15 people died in the attack in Kembru,\u201d said Pigai\nduring a press conference at the Ministry of Human Rights office in\nKuningan, Central Jakarta, on Monday (20\/4).<\/p>\n<p>Pigai said the data on the number of civilian deaths was compiled\nfrom various sources, including local government, residents, and injured\nvictims from the shootout.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the fatalities, the Ministry of Human Rights also\nrecorded seven people who sustained injuries from the firefight.<\/p>\n<p>Pigai continued that this incident has attracted the attention of the\nMinistry of Human Rights because it claimed civilian lives.<\/p>\n<p>Therefore, the Ministry of Human Rights is endeavouring to push for\nthe case to be uncovered so that the public can know who the shooters\nare and what the motive was.<\/p>\n<p>One of the efforts undertaken by Pigai and the Ministry of Human\nRights is to take over the handling of this case.
