The Mate X7 is equipped with Ultra Lightning HDR Camera system 50 MP\nwith a RYYB sensor, featuring a variable aperture from F1.49 to F4.0 and\nOptical Image Stabilisation (OIS). The main camera uses a 1\/1.28-inch\nsensor enabling more optimal light capture. This camera also delivers a\ndynamic range of up to 17.5 EV, one of the highest in its class,\nallowing details to be captured clearly in both bright and dark areas\nwithin a single frame.<\/p>\n
Ten physical aperture sizes are adjustable, giving users flexibility\nto tailor depth of field and exposure to their photography needs. The\nultra-thin lens, measuring 0.4 mm in thickness, makes the camera module\n1.12 mm shorter. The quad-cuts lens design also reduces the camera\nmodule size by 23 percent while increasing light absorption by up to 31\npercent.<\/p>\n
In addition to the main camera, the Mate X7 features an Ultra Wide\nAngle Camera 40 MP with a RYYB sensor and F2.2 aperture. This enables\nusers to capture wider perspectives, ideal for landscapes, architecture,\nand group photos.<\/p>\n
The device also includes a Telephoto Macro Camera 50 MP with a RYYB\nsensor, F2.2 aperture, and OIS support. It offers 3.5x optical zoom and\n7x optical quality zoom, allowing distant subjects to be captured with\npreserved detail.<\/p>\n
Huawei has also incorporated cluster focus lenses into the telephoto\nperiscope, making the camera module 9 percent shorter. The focusing\nsystem is supported by a multi-dimensional integrated focus motor that\nis 76 percent smaller, yet capable of delivering OIS with 50 percent\ngreater precision.<\/p>\n
The camera capabilities are further enhanced by true-to-colour camera\ntechnology, which can improve colour reproduction by up to 43 percent\nand increase light absorption by up to 96 percent.<\/p>\n
Not only for photography, the Mate X7 can record video with Ultra\nLightning HDR Video, delivering a dynamic range up to 17.5 EV, providing\nmore detailed and balanced visuals.<\/p>\n
On the display side, the Mate X7 features a panel with peak\nbrightness up to 3000 nits at 20 percent APL, ensuring clarity even in\noutdoor conditions. The screen also supports 1440 Hz PWM dimming for eye\ncomfort, and an adaptive refresh rate of 1\u2013120 Hz to make the display\nsmoother and more power-efficient.<\/p>\n
Huawei also places great emphasis on durability: the outer display is\nprotected by Ultra Durable Crystal Armour Kunlun Glass, claimed to offer\n16 times scratch resistance and 25 times drop resistance. For the hinge,\nHuawei uses Advanced Precision Hinge made from ultra-high-strength steel\nwith a tensile strength of up to 2350 MPa, providing greater resilience\nwhen folding or unfolding. Meanwhile, the inner display features a\nthree-layer ultra-strong structure that increases fold durability by 100\npercent and enhances impact resistance by 20 percent.<\/p>\n
The device is also resilient to various extreme conditions, including\nhigh-pressure water jets and hot water up to 80 degrees Celsius. The\nMate X7 uses a middle frame made of aviation-grade aluminium, balancing\nstrength with light weight.<\/p>\n
To keep performance stable, Huawei includes a SuperCool Ultra Large\nVC cooling system and graphene heat dissipation. The system uses a 3550\nmm\u00b2 ultra-large vapour chamber with a thermal conductivity of 2000\nW\/m\u00b7K, helping control temperature during heavy use.<\/p>\n
The Mate X7 is also equipped with a silicon\u2011anode battery with a\ncapacity of 5600 mAh designed to support all-day use. The device\nsupports 66 W wired charging and 50 W wireless charging, offering\nflexibility in charging.<\/p>\n
