        "content": "<p>HSBC, Lippo join forces<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA (JP): The Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation<br>\n(HSBC) has agreed with LippoBank to cooperate in corporate<br>\nbanking service, allowing HSBC customers to have access to<br>\nLippoBank's nationwide branch network.<\/p>\n<p>\"With this agreement, HSBC's corporate customers will benefit<br>\nby having access to LippoBank's extensive branch network to<br>\nperform banking transactions, allowing for better control over<br>\ntheir fund movement,\" HSBC Indonesia deputy chief executive<br>\nofficer Alastair J. Bryce said.<\/p>\n<p>Under the agreement, Bryce explained, LippoBank would transmit<br>\ntransaction information directly to HSBC on a daily basis.<\/p>\n<p>LippoBank president Ian B. Clyne said through the alliance,<br>\nLippoBank would be able to cultivate product knowledge sharing<br>\nwith HSBC, increase its fee-based income as well as volume<br>\ngrowth. (jsk)<\/p>",
