The public needs to be more\ndiligent in checking sources, context, and digital footprints before\ntrusting or sharing such media.<\/p>\n<p>Generative AI technology is now capable of creating images and videos\nwith extreme detail that closely resembles reality. Human faces, voices,\nlocations, movements, and even specific environmental conditions can be\ncreated or modified using this technology.<\/p>\n<p>This situation makes the ability to verify content authenticity\nincreasingly important, especially when photos or videos are used to\ndisseminate information regarding ongoing events.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Do not rely solely on visual appearance<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>One initial way to check a photo or video is to look for unnatural\ndetails. In several pieces of AI-generated content, anomalies can be\nseen in the shape of hands and fingers, text, reflections, shadows,\nfacial expressions, or lip movements.
