        "content": "<p>Bank Indonesia (BI) launched the Indonesia Credit Card (KKI) Retail\nSegment on Monday, 17 August 2026. The KKI is being developed in stages,\nstarting with features for QRIS payments and online payments, followed\nby the introduction of physical cards.<\/p>\n<p>In the initial phase, launched on 17 August 2026, the Indonesia\nCredit Card is issued in digital form to serve as a funding source for\nQRIS transactions. These transactions can be completed via QRIS Scan,\nQRIS without scanning (QRIS Tap), or QRIS Tap.<\/p>\n<p>In this context, Payment Service Providers (PJP) have launched the\nIndonesia Credit Card involving several banks in the first stage. These\ninclude Bank Central Asia (BCA), Bank Mandiri, Bank Negara Indonesia\n(BNAB), Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI), CIMB Niaga, Permata Bank, Bank\nMega, and Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI).<\/p>\n<p><strong>How to Apply and Activate the Retail Indonesia Credit\nCard<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>CIMB Niaga<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><p>Ensure customers have an active OCTO application.<\/p><\/li>\n<li><p>Complete a physical application form with full and accurate\ninformation, or scan the available QR simple Web Form and provide a full\nname and a contact number for CIMB Niaga staff to follow up.<\/p><\/li>\n<li><p>Existing CIMB Niaga Credit Card holders must complete a physical\napplication and attach a photocopy of their ID (KTP).<\/p><\/li>\n<li><p>New customers must complete the application and attach a\nphotocopy of their ID (KTP) along with recent income\ndocumentation.<\/p><\/li>\n<li><p>The card will be processed within approximately 2-3 working days\nonce complete data and documents are received.<\/p><\/li>\n<li><p>Customers will receive notification via SMS\/WhatsApp regarding\napproval or rejection.<\/p><\/li>\n<li><p>If approved, customers must immediately activate the card via the\nOCTO application.<\/p><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Activation via OCTO<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Activate and create a PIN for the Indonesia Credit Card (KKI) Retail\nSegment through the OCTO application.<\/p>\n<p><strong>BCA<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><p>BCA Credit Card applications can be made by visiting the nearest\nBCA Branch, visiting a sales booth (direct sales), or being contacted by\na BCA sales representative. Applications can also be made online via the\nBCA Webform, BCA eBranch application, VIRA, and BCA\ntelemarketing.<\/p><\/li>\n<li><p>Requirements for BCA Credit Card applications include:<\/p><\/li>\n<li><p>Indonesian citizens (WNI) or foreign nationals (WNA) residing in\nIndonesia.<\/p><\/li>\n<li><p>Minimum age of 21 (or married) and a maximum age of 65 for\nprimary card applications.<\/p><\/li>\n<li><p>Minimum monthly income of IDR 3,000,000.<\/p><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Activation via myBCA<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Log in to myBCA<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><p>Click the Settings icon in the top right corner.<\/p><\/li>\n<li><p>Select Credit Card.<\/p><\/li>\n<li><p>Select Indonesia Credit Card for activation.<\/p><\/li>\n<li><p>Click Activate Credit Card.<\/p><\/li>\n<li><p>Tick the approval box.<\/p><\/li>\n<li><p>Enter your PIN to confirm.<\/p><\/li>\n<li><p>Credit Card activation successful.<\/p><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>BSI<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol type=\"1\">\n<li><p>Customers must complete the BSI Hasanah Card Application Form,\nService Instruction Book, and information found on the website\nwww.bankbsi.co.id.<\/p><\/li>\n<li><p>Once the Application Form is approved by the Bank and the card is\nactivated by the Cardholder, the Akad Kafalah bil Ujrah, Akad Qardh, and\nAkad Ijarah contracts are established.<\/p><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Activation via BYOND<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><p>Through the BYOND application, select the PAY menu.<\/p><\/li>\n<li><p>Select Hasanah Card from the payment menu list.<\/p><\/li>\n<li><p>Enter the 16-digit BSI Hasanah Card number.<\/p><\/li>\n<li><p>Upon verification, the following information will appear: Card\nNumber, Issue Date, Expiry Date, Cardholder Name, Bill Amount, and\nMinimum Payment.<\/p><\/li>\n<li><p>Enter the payment amount.<\/p><\/li>\n<li><p>Confirm the payment.<\/p><\/li>\n<li><p>Enter the transaction PIN.<\/p><\/li>\n<li><p>Transaction complete.<\/p><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Bank Mega<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><p>Credit card applications can be made via M-Smile, the onboarding\nwebsite, or the nearest branch.<\/p><\/li>\n<li><p>Applicants must complete personal data and required documents,\nincluding a photo of their ID (eKTP), NPWP (optional), and a selfie\nholding the original ID.<\/p><\/li>\n<li><p><strong>Activation<\/strong><\/p><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To activate a Bank Mega credit card, send an SMS to 83377 using the\nformat: PIN [Last 4 Digits of Card] [DDMMYYYY] [6-Digit PIN].<\/p>",
