        "content": "<p>House to query polio handling<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA: At least 25 members of the House of Representatives<br>\nplan to file a motion to question the government's handling of<br>\npolio and marasmus cases in the country.<\/p>\n<p>Lawmaker Nursjahbani Katjasungkana, the initiator of the<br>\nmotion, said on Wednesday the government's response to these<br>\nhealth crises was too slow despite long-term development plans.<\/p>\n<p>The recent outbreaks of polio and marasmus are proof of the<br>\ngovernment's negligence, he said, while noting that the<br>\ndiscovered cases were likely just the tip of the iceberg.<\/p>\n<p>A total of six questions for the government have been drafted<br>\nand will be filed on Thursday. The motion will be discussed<br>\nduring a plenary session, during which all 10 House factions will<br>\ndeliver their views before deciding whether to pass the motion.<br>\n-- JP<\/p>",
