        "content": "<p>Jakarta (ANTARA) - Hetifah Sjaifudian, Chair of Commission X of the\nIndonesian House of Representatives (DPR), has stated that university\nresearch in fields such as health, food security, and energy must serve\nas the foundation for data-based policy, rather than merely being an\nacademic accomplishment. She made the remarks during the Annual Session\nof the People\u2019s Consultative Assembly (MPR) and the Joint Session of the\nDPR and the Regional Representative Council (DPD) in Jakarta on Friday,\nresponding to the fact that many essential products, including health\nitems, are still imported. She argued that many societal welfare\nchallenges can be addressed through research tailored to the community\u2019s\nconditions.<\/p>\n<p>In a separate occasion, DPR Commission XIII member Rieke Diah\nPitaloka emphasised that evidence-based policy and accurate data help\nthe government fulfil the four guidelines of the \u2018Red and White Cabinet\u2019\nto achieve Indonesia\u2019s prosperity. She stressed the importance of\nimmediately passing the One Data Indonesia Bill so that accurate data\ncan underpin development. The four cabinet guidelines, as outlined by\nPresident Prabowo Subianto in his speech, are: working to uphold the\n1945 Constitution; safeguarding the nation\u2019s core and vital national\ninterests, including its wealth; overcoming the people\u2019s hardships as\nquickly as possible; and orienting policy towards the interests of the\npeople, their children, and grandchildren.<\/p>\n<p>The Annual Session of the MPR and the Joint Session of the DPR and\nDPD featured a speech by President Prabowo Subianto to deliver the\nperformance report of state institutions and a state address in\nconjunction with the 81st Anniversary of the Independence of the\nRepublic of Indonesia. The government also screened a video on its\nperformance achievements. The annual state event carried the theme \u2018A\nSovereign, Just, and Prosperous Indonesia\u2019.<\/p>",
