        "content": "<p>Deputy Chairman of House Commission VI Andre Rosiade stated that the\ncommission is prepared to support the Danantara Development Management\nFund (DDMF) introduced by President Prabowo Subianto. He said the DDMF,\nas conveyed by the President, is intended to finance long-term projects\nthat remain difficult to fund commercially. \u201cI think there is no\nproblem, and we in Commission VI will support that step because the\nobjective is good. We will certainly support it and we will observe and\nlisten to the official briefing from Danantara on its progress,\u201d Andre\nsaid in Jakarta on Friday. According to him, the President\u2019s\npresentation on the DDMF provided a positive perception. \u201cIn principle,\nthe presentation delivered by the President regarding the DDMF gives a\npositive perception of how the government is preparing alternative\nbudgets to finance long-term investments that cannot be funded by\ncommercial investment,\u201d he said. President Prabowo Subianto introduced\nthe Danantara Development Management Fund as an instrument prepared to\nfinance long-term strategic projects vital for Indonesia. He stated that\nDanantara is Indonesia\u2019s sovereign wealth fund and must become an\ninstrument for building the nation\u2019s capacity over the long term.\n\u201cDanantara is our sovereign wealth fund. Danantara must become an\ninstrument for building national capacity for decades to come,\u201d\nPresident Prabowo said during the Government\u2019s Introductory Statement on\nthe 2027 State Budget Bill and its Financial Note at the MPR Building in\nJakarta on Friday. He explained that the DDMF plays a role in preparing,\ndeveloping, and financing long-term strategic projects that cannot yet\nbe financed through short-term commercial investment. Consequently,\nthese projects are also expected not to depend on financing from the\nState Budget. President Prabowo also emphasised that Indonesia\u2019s\nsovereign wealth fund, through the DDMF, will be invested in a\ndisciplined and professional manner to support various national\nstrategic projects. As an example, President Prabowo cited the plan to\ndevelop a national car, with the government targeting mass production to\nbegin by the end of 2028. In addition to the national car, the\ngovernment has also launched a national motorcycle project. Prabowo said\nthe national motorcycle ecosystem is beginning to operate, involving\nprivate companies and state-owned enterprises.<\/p>",
