        "content": "<p>Situbondo (ANTARA) - Commission VI of the Indonesian House of\nRepresentatives (DPR RI) and PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk\u2019s\nSitubondo branch, East Java, held a socialisation event on state-owned\nenterprise (BUMN) partnerships targeting micro, small and medium\nenterprises (MSMEs) and local Muslimat NU members on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe facilitated a meeting between MSME actors and Muslimat NU with\nBRI Situbondo branch to present banking programmes while also directly\nabsorbing the aspirations of the community,\u201d said Commission VI member\nHM Nasim Khan to reporters in Situbondo on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>The BUMN partnership socialisation with Bank BRI Situbondo branch,\nheld during the recess period at the hall of SMA Negeri 2 Situbondo,\nfocused on financial literacy and easier access to financing.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, Nasim said, hundreds of participants also received an\nunderstanding of the People\u2019s Business Credit (KUR) programme and the\nbanking system, as well as education on the dangers of online loans\n(pinjol).<\/p>\n<p>The Commission VI member from the National Awakening Party (PKB)\nfaction also said that besides socialising banking financing products,\nthe activity also served as a platform to gather aspirations from the\ncommunity in the City of Santri.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe also collect aspirations or complaints from the public regarding\nobstacles in accessing financing at financial service institutions,\u201d\nsaid Nasim.<\/p>\n<p>Nasim emphasised that he will continue to oversee and provide\nassistance on various problems faced by residents in East Java,\nparticularly in the East Java III electoral district (Situbondo,\nBondowoso, Banyuwangi).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGoing forward, this oversight and partnership synergy activity will\ncontinue to be intensified and will involve the entire network of\nHimbara banks and other state-owned enterprises in the Situbondo,\nBondowoso and Banyuwangi areas,\u201d he said.<\/p>",
