        "content": "<p>The Chairman of Commission III of the Indonesian House of\nRepresentatives (DPR RI), Habiburokhman, has delivered a special message\nto Rudi Margono, who has been appointed as the Acting Junior Attorney\nGeneral for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) at the Attorney General\u2019s Office,\nreplacing Febrie Adriansyah. According to Habiburokhman, the task\nentrusted to Rudi Margono is not an easy one. Nevertheless, Commission\nIII expressed its full support to ensure the Attorney General\u2019s Office\ncan maintain public trust amidst the legal case ensnaring the former\nJampidsus. \u201cYour task is heavy, but we offer our full support. We love\nthe Prosecutor\u2019s Office, we love your institution, we love the Attorney\nGeneral\u2019s Office. Do not let it be tarnished by the behaviour of rogue\nindividuals,\u201d said Habiburokhman on Sunday, 12 July 2026. Habiburokhman\nassessed that Rudi Margono has a good track record during his service in\nthe Adhyaksa Corps. He is therefore confident that Rudi is capable of\ncarrying out the mandate as Acting Jampidsus professionally and\nmaintaining the institution\u2019s honour. According to the Gerindra Party\npolitician, integrity is a crucial asset for Rudi in leading the special\ncrimes division amid public scrutiny over the handling of several major\ncases. \u201cI think he is a person of integrity, he has a very good track\nrecord, and we are confident he will work all out,\u201d he stated.\nCommission III also affirmed its support for the Attorney General\u2019s\nOffice\u2019s steps to ensure the law enforcement process continues without\ndisrupting the institution\u2019s credibility. Rudi Margono was appointed by\nAttorney General ST Burhanuddin as Acting Jampidsus after Febrie\nAdriansyah resigned from his position. Prior to this assignment, Rudi\nserved as the Junior Attorney General for Supervision (Jamwas) at the\nAttorney General\u2019s Office. This appointment was made to ensure the\norganisation within the Jampidsus continues to function amid the legal\nprocess currently faced by Febrie Adriansyah. Previously, the National\nPolice Headquarters, through the Corruption Eradication Corps (Kortas\nTipikor), named Febrie Adriansyah a suspect in alleged corruption and\nmoney laundering offences (TPPU).
