        "content": "<p>In a post on his personal Instagram account, Hotman Paris said he\nspecifically apologised to President Prabowo Subianto, Attorney General\nSanitiar Burhanuddin, National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit\nPrabowo, and Metro Jaya Police Chief Commissioner General Asep Edi\nSuheri for his statements during a press conference at the Attorney\nGeneral\u2019s Office. \u201cHotman apologises if any of my words or actions\nduring the press conference after the examination of the suspect, the\nformer Jampidsus, on 17 July were inappropriate,\u201d he said. Hotman\nadmitted that his statement mentioning President Prabowo was made purely\nin the interest of defending his client. He stressed there was no other\nmotivation or political interest whatsoever. Previously, Hotman had\ndescribed the case against Febrie as a form of criminalisation,\nexpressing dismay at his client\u2019s current condition. He claimed that\nduring his tenure, Febrie was a figure Prabowo was proud of for saving\nstate assets worth a total of Rp430 trillion. Meanwhile, Minister of\nState Secretary Prasetyo Hadi emphasised that the government is leaving\nthe case entirely to the legal process and urged all parties not to link\nit to the President. \u201cDo not associate this with the President.
