Hotels hold blood donation campaign<\/p>\n
YOGYAKARTA: As part of its nation-wide \"Accor Blood Donation
\nCampaign 2005\" program underway since May 16, three Accor hotels
\nin Yogyakarta, namely Grand Mercure, Novotel, and Ibis Malioboro
\non Thursday held a blood donor event.<\/p>\n
As many as 74 blood donors participated in the event that was
\nheld at Grand Mercure Yogyakarta Hotel on Jl. Sudirman, and
\nresulted in the collection of 54 bags of blood.<\/p>\n
Of the participants, 36 donors were staff from Grand Mercure,
\n27 were from Ibis Malioboro, 19 from Novotel Yogya, and the two
\ndonors were non-staff.<\/p>\n
According to Wiwied of Grand Mercure Yogyakarta, over 30
\nhotels under the Accor flag throughout Indonesia participated in
\nthe program, and was held in cooperation with the Indonesian Red
\nCross (PMI).<\/p>\n
The program, held during this month, is open to anyone and
\nwill take place in all Accor hotels in Greater Jakarta, Central
\nJava, East Java, Yogyakarta, Bali, Lombok, and Sumatra. -- JP<\/p>",
