Sustainable, aligned, and coordinated\nresearch and innovation were discussed at the meeting titled\n\u201cCollaboration of BRIDA across Bali in the Research and Innovation\nEcosystem to Support the Local Development Vision\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis activity aims to strengthen synergy among BRIDA in Bali\u2019s\nregencies and cities in developing sustainable research and innovation,\u201d\nsaid the Head of BRIDA Gianyar, I Ketut Sedana, in his statement on\nThursday (30\/4\/2026).<\/p>\n<p>Sedana stated that collaboration with various parties, including the\ncentral government, province, regions, academics, and business actors,\nis the function of the meeting. Research and innovation in six priority\ndevelopment sectors for Bali were discussed and synchronised among\nBRIDAs from nine regencies and cities in Bali.<\/p>\n<p>The goal, Sedana explained, is for research and innovation results\nnot to end up only in scientific journals but to directly benefit\nsociety. This is also to prevent potential problems in natural, human,\nand cultural aspects.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTherefore, strengthening research and innovation based on Bali\u2019s six\npriority development sectors is needed to maintain and improve the\nquality of Bali\u2019s nature, people, and culture, while promoting\nprotection of intellectual property rights (IPR),\u201d said Sedana.<\/p>\n<p>Assistant for Economy and Development of the Bali Regional\nSecretariat, Luh Ayu Aryani, stated that synchronisation of programmes\namong regional apparatus is necessary to produce more directed and\neffective policy formulations.
