Johannes Hospital, the<br>\nstatus of which has just been elevated from a C-class to B-class<br>\nhospital, needs 16 specialists, including a neurosurgeon.<\/p>\n<p>The government stipulates that a B-class hospital must have at<br>\nleast 30 specialists. The Johannes Hospital currently has only 14<br>\nspecialists and 16 general practitioners, including its director.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Husein Pancratius said that 10 of the GPs will be leaving<br>\nthe hospital shortly because their contracts have expired, Antara<br>\nreported.<\/p>\n<p>\"It's the patients who will face difficulties because of the<br>\nshortage of doctors,\" Husein said.<\/p>\n<p>Hospitals are grouped into A, B, C and D categories; A-class<br>\nhospitals are usually established in capitals of provinces.
