Jakarta (ANTARA) - Details of the specifications of the Honor Magic 9\nand Magic 9 Pro Max smartphones have surfaced ahead of their launch,\nwhich will take place in China on 28 September 2026.<\/p>\n
According to a Gizmochina report on Monday (14\/9) local time, the\ninformation was shared by leaker Digital Chat Station.<\/p>\n
The Honor Magic 9 features a compact design with a 6.37-inch LTPS\ndisplay. The screen has a resolution of 2,664 x 1,236 pixels and\nsupports a 120Hz refresh rate.<\/p>\n
Honor has used thin bezels with rounded screen corners. The phone\nalso has a dedicated AI button and a camera shutter button.<\/p>\n
Turning to the rear, the camera module design of the Magic 9 has\nchanged compared with the Magic 8 Pro. Honor has abandoned the circular\nmodule in favour of a large horizontal camera module.<\/p>\n
The main camera uses a 200-megapixel sensor measuring 1\/1.4 inches\nwith an f\/1.9 aperture. It is accompanied by a 50-megapixel f\/2.0\nultrawide camera and a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with a\n1\/1.56-inch sensor, an f\/2.6 aperture, and 3.5x optical zoom\ncapability.<\/p>\n
In terms of performance, the Magic 9 is expected to use the\nSnapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. As for power, the phone is equipped with an\n8,000 mAh battery supporting 80W fast charging via cable and 50W\nwirelessly.<\/p>\n
Honor has also equipped the Magic 9 with a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint\nsensor placed under the display. The Magic 9 has also obtained IP68,\nIP69, and IP69K durability certifications.<\/p>\n
Its front camera has the same specifications as the Magic 9, namely a\n55-megapixel sensor with an f\/2.0 aperture in a square format. The AI\nbutton and camera shutter button are also available on the Pro Max\nmodel.<\/p>\n
For the rear cameras, the Magic 9 Pro Max relies on a 200-megapixel\nmain camera with a 1\/1.28-inch sensor and an f\/1.57 aperture. In\naddition, it is fitted with a 50-megapixel f\/2.0 ultrawide camera and a\n200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with a 1\/1.4-inch sensor and an\nf\/2.6 aperture.<\/p>\n
In terms of performance, the Pro Max model will use the Snapdragon 8\nElite Gen 6. This chipset is Qualcomm\u2019s flagship platform, manufactured\nusing a 2-nanometer fabrication process.<\/p>\n
The Honor Magic 9 Pro Max also carries a larger battery with a\ncapacity of 8,800 mAh. Its charging supports 100W via cable and 80W\nwirelessly.<\/p>\n
For security, in addition to the ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, Honor\nhas added 3D face recognition.
