        "content": "<p>Home minister accused of fraud<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA: A member of the Regional Autonomy Consultative<br>\nCouncil (DPOD) Tabrani Rab reported Home Affairs Minister Hari<br>\nSabarno to the Jakarta Police office Tuesday for public<br>\ndeception, action unbecoming of a minister and fraud.<\/p>\n<p>Tabrani said that the reason for the report was over the<br>\nproposal on the establishment of the Riau islands province.<\/p>\n<p>He revealed that most DPOD members expressed their rejection<br>\nof the proposal to form a separate province for Riau islands at<br>\nan internal meeting on March 21.<\/p>\n<p>But, Hari Sabarno sent him a letter on June 11, informing them<br>\nthat he did not recognize the conclusions of the meeting. Hari<br>\nsaid in the letter that DPOD had no authority to make such a<br>\ndecision.<\/p>\n<p>Instead of considering the DPOD rejection, Hari pushed ahead<br>\nwith the establishment of the Riau islands province, he said.<\/p>\n<p>Tabrani said he planned to report the minister to the State<br>\nAdministrative Court for violating Law No.22\/1999 on Regional<br>\nAutonomy. -- JP<\/p>",
