He\nconveyed this invitation at the Halalbihalal event for the South Sumatra\ndiaspora community at Griya Agung on Saturday (25\/4). Tito explained\nthat the meeting stemmed from the initiative of South Sumatra figures\nwho wished to strengthen togetherness while encouraging tangible\ncontributions to regional progress. \u201cIt is not that we lack nationalism\nand prioritise primordialism or regionalism. No.\u00a0That is not it,\u201d he\nstated. According to him, this regional spirit should instead be\ndirected into positive energy through measured programmes with direct\nimpacts on society. Therefore, he encouraged local governments (Pemda)\nin the South Sumatra region to compile realistic priority agendas that\ncan be completed in a relatively short time, focusing on achievements\nthat can be felt within three years.
