        "content": "<p>JAKARTA (ANTARA) \u2013 Home Affairs Minister Tito Karnavian, chairing the\nTask Force for the Acceleration of Post-Disaster Rehabilitation and\nReconstruction in Sumatra, has stated that all local governments from\nregency to district and village levels across Sumatra have resumed\noperations following the disasters.<\/p>\n<p>He said the task force and relevant ministries and agencies have\nmobilised to restore Sumatra. Previously, village and district\nadministrations were significantly affected and unable to function.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSome village offices were affected, and although operations have\nresumed, some are still in temporary housing (Huntara), others in\noffices or the village head\u2019s homes,\u201d Tito said after a recovery meeting\nwith the House of Representatives in the parliamentary complex on\nMonday.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHospitals, health facilities, and community health centres\n(puskesmas) are largely operational, but will be further optimised by\nthe Health Minister. Some sub-health centres remain,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>Despite some isolated villages, he noted that all national roads in\nSumatra are now connected, with bridges fully repaired.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, House of Representatives Deputy Speaker Sufmi Dasco Ahmad\nsaid the DPR and government, through the task force, have discussed a\nmaster plan for Sumatra\u2019s recovery, with the budget already\napproved.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are coordinating to ensure that rehabilitation and reconstruction\nactivities, as well as the technical work plans of ministries and\nagencies, proceed smoothly,\u201d Dasco said.<\/p>",
