        "content": "<p>The Indonesian Industrial Estates Association (HKI) has formulated a\nnumber of strategic solutions to accelerate the realisation of national\ninvestment whilst strengthening the competitiveness of industrial\nestates amid global dynamics.<\/p>\n<p>HKI Chairman Akhmad Makruf Maulana said the recommendations were the\noutcome of HKI\u2019s 25th National Working Meeting (Rakernas), held in\nJakarta on 30-31 July 2026.<\/p>\n<p>In a statement confirmed in Jakarta on Monday, Ma\u2019ruf said his side\nbelieves the main investment challenge facing Indonesia today is no\nlonger merely attracting investor interest, but ensuring that committed\ninvestments can be realised promptly.<\/p>\n<p>This is because Indonesia possesses considerable assets to become one\nof the most competitive investment destinations in Asia, ranging from a\nlarge domestic market and a demographic bonus to abundant natural\nresources and a strategic position in global supply chains.<\/p>\n<p>He said the recommendations cover regulatory harmonisation,\naccelerated completion of permits, stronger certainty in spatial\nplanning and land affairs, improved reliability of energy supply,\nenhanced connectivity, and strengthened institutions for resolving\ninvestment obstacles.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHKI wants to be a strategic partner of the government in ensuring\nthat investments already secured are truly realised and deliver the\ngreatest possible benefit to the public,\u201d said Makruf.<\/p>",
